Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to learn working principles, uses, and design techniques of sequential circuits, registers and memories, programmable logic devices and algoritmic state machines. The design of digital systems will be realized in the laboratory through experiments using both ICs and by improving the use of hardware languages ??through FPGA circuit design

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

2 Analyze and design synchronous sequential circuits;
3 Perform register and counter operations;
4 Understand the fundamentals of memory implementation, RAMs and ROMs.
5 Learning an algorithmic state machine (ASM) chart which define algorithms for  exec ution on digital hardware.
