NoLearning Outcomes
4 Determines design parameters of planar phased arrays and evaluates the array factor as a function of scan angle using numerical methods.
5 Analyzes edge effects in finite array structures and their degrading impact on array radiation patterns, and proposes mitigation techniques.
Bilgi
1 Defines mutual coupling effects in phased array antenna systems and analyzes array performance using the infinite array concept.
3 Models array structures composed of rectangular and circular waveguides and calculates the radiation characteristics of these structures.
Beceri
2 Formulates phased arrays as boundary value problems by applying Floquet's theorem and utilizes mathematical solution methods.
