Objectives of the Course To define the computational aspects of power system operation and security control strategies.

Course Content Computational aspects and security control strategies of power system operation. Network topology determination, state estimation, steady state and dynamic security assessment, frequency and voltage control review, modern control center functions.
Course Methods and Techniques The lecture topics are explained using both slides and the whiteboard.
